Brittany Murphy may have lost her life but she will never be forgotten! During a Clueless reunion, the cast members reflected on her ‘ridiculous talent’ and working with the late actress in general.
The stars were part of a Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo panel and while there, they opened up about Murphy, who passed away at the age of only 32 back in 2009.
Alicia Silverstone, who played the role of Cher Horowitz in the ‘90s classic told the audience at the event: ‘I had to tell [writer and director] Amy [Heckerling] just in case she did not know that Brittany Murphy was the one that had to play the part. She was so good.’
The actress went on to recall one of her favorite famous lines in the movie delivered by Murphy in the role of Tai Frasier: ‘I love when she says, ‘You are a virgin who can’t drive.’ It is just one of my favorite moments of the whole movie. It is just, her face scrunches up so good.’
Breckin Meyer, who portrayed Tai’s love interest, Travis Birkenstock also praised the late actress’ skills and talent, comparing her awkward and naïve Clueless character to the complete opposite role she got to portray in Eminem’s 2002 film 8 Mile.
‘Ridiculously talented. Like, you see Tai, and then you watch 8 Mile, and you are just like, ‘That is the same person?’’ he said.
Next, Murray’s actor, Donald Faison made sure to remind everyone that Murphy was multitalented since she could also sing and dance!

Paul Rudd (Cher’s ex-stepbrother) then talked about her personality, telling the audience that she was really sweet and would smile all the time.
