Charlotte Rampling was born on 5th February of 1946 in a village of Essex named Sturmer in England. Her real name is Tessa Charlotte Rampling, and she was born to a painter Isabel Anne and a British Army officer and Olympic gold medalist, Godfrey Rampling. She grew up in a wealthy family traveling back and forth between Spain and France, finally settling down in the UK.

She joined boarding school St Hilda’s School in Bushey after transferring from Academie Jeanne d’Arc school in France. Sarah died when she was 23 years old by suicide, whom she was very close to.
