Sean OMalley tattoos 'CHAMP' on forehead following bantamweight title win at UFC 292

Sean O’Malley will be reminded of his famous title win every time he looks in the mirror.

Not only will the UFC bantamweight champion see the man who knocked out Aljamain Sterling, but he’ll also get a glimpse of the word ‘CHAMP’ tattooed on his forehead.

‘Suga’, who already had a few tattoos on his face and many more all over his body, previously suggested he was planning to get more ink to commemorate his UFC 292 victory.

“I might get ‘champ’ on my face somewhere,” O’Malley said during a post-fight press conference before following through with his plan a few days later.

The 28-year-old will soon put his post-fight party on hold.

During his Octagon interview, O’Malley called for a rematch with Marlon Vera and suggested they should headline UFC 296 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 16.

‘Chito’, who is the only man to beat the new 135lb king, appears to be down for the fight and O’Malley insists he is happy to have a quick turnaround.

O’Malley is even willing to drop down to the co-main event slot if that means Conor McGregor will make his long-awaited return to fighting on the same card.

‘Notorious’ hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021, but he is now fully fit and desperate to fight Michael Chandler before the end of 2023.

McGregor slipped into O’Malley’s DMs following UFC 292 and left the American with the impression they could share a card later this year.

"Conor [McGregor] messaged me on Instagram for the first time yesterday,” O’Malley recently told Pat McAfee.

“He said, 'Baby, we did it.' And I said, 'We sure f****** did!' I said, 'You main eventing in December, I'm co-main eventing?' All he replied was, 'Shot caller.'

“I don't know what that means, but I feel like I kinda do so I'm hoping that's a yes in f****** Irish."

Dana White is yet to reveal who will headline his final pay-per-view show of the year, but he has claimed McGregor’s return bout is likely to take place in 2024.

The UFC president has also remained tight-lipped about O’Malley’s next fight date.
