Shawn Mendes has premiered the music video for his new single ‘Nervous’.
Directed by Eli Russell Linnetz, the video sees Shawn playing his guitar in front of a magnolia background, whilst artist and model Lilliya Scarlett runs her hands all over the ‘Mercy’ singers body.
Just weeks after the release of the black and white vertical version of the video clip (released exclusively on Spotify), Mendes has treated fans by unveiling a new widescreen, full colour visual.
Shawn took to Instagram to announce news of the videos premiere, sharing a chromatic still frame with the caption “#NervousMusicVideo drops in full color at noon EST x”.

Co-written by Shawn, Scott Harris and Julia Michaels, ‘Nervous’ is sure to make its way up the charts following the release of the tracks music video, having already been streamed on Spotify over 23 million times.
‘Nervous’ is the fifth single to be released from Shawn’s self-titled third studio album, following ‘In My Blood’, ‘Lost In Japan’, ‘Youth’ and ‘Where Were You In The Morning’.
The album, released in May (2018), debuted at number 1 in over 7 countries and features collaborations with Julia Michaels and Khalid.
Mendes recently announced plans for a world tour in support of the album which will see him play shows across Europe and North America, from March to August 2019.
